What is CranioSacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle method of evaluating and treating the craniosacral system. This system is comprised of the membranes and liquid that surround the brain and the spinal cord. An imbalance or restriction in the system can cause a number of sensory, motor and neurological disorders. CranioSacral Therapy can assist the body in its self-healing mechanisms to facilitate restoring the natural balance and mobility for the tissues, therefore enhancing the physiological functions of many different systems.

A testimony from one of our clients:

"I am so thankful we found Claudia to assist our son with CranioSacral Therapy combined with Physical Therapy. We were led to her because our son Bryce's head was badly misshapen after spending a month in the Hospital at birth where he was typically propped up. A doctor told us he needed a helmet and after researching and talking with families who used a helmet we decided it was not the right direction for us. We chose to begin CranioSacral Therapy and achieved wonderful results. You cannot tell that his head was ever differently shaped.

Bryce has a diagnosis of Down Syndrome and we found that CranioSacral Therapy was very helpful to him. He accomplished each new motor skill immediately following a cranial session and during his physical therapy with Claudia. She was with us the first time he rolled over, crawled, sat up, walked etc... He was able to meet developmental milestones within the typical timeline.

Claudia is so great with children! Her sessions were just the right mix of fun, hard work and love. Our confidence in our son's abilities was increased because she lovingly pushed him to achieve and always believed in him. She showed us how to increase his self esteem by allowing him to work through new challenges without so much help from us. Our son is extremely strong thanks to his therapy and the wonderful variety of exercises he was exposed to at a young age.

At 3 years old he was discharged from Physical Therapy because he was doing so well. We have continued to use CranioSacral Therapy as needed for tune-ups. Due to Bryce's amazing results with Craniosacral, both his Grandmother, Grandfather, siblings and Mom have enjoyed Craniosacral sessions to assist with everything from jaw, back and foot pain to pregnancy aches, stress and insomnia. We have been very pleased with our miraculous results as well. We highly recommend Claudia and her Therapy services!" (M.B., Orlando)
